Reuven Gozal is an energy expert and attorney specialising in renewable energy across Europe. He has led and executed transactions totalling 7.5 GW across multiple European markets and technologies, with a focus on M&As, PPAs and FPAs, spanning different project maturities and transaction structures.
He is currently a Business Development Manager at Econergy, a leading European IPP specialising in solar PV, wind, energy storage, and co-located projects across eight European markets. In his role, Reuven leads the origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of project acquisitions, platform investments, and strategic transactions, identifying and developing opportunities to enter new markets and pursue investment opportunities. He leverages his expertise across renewables, energy storage, energy markets, colocation, financial modelling, investment analysis, and RtM solutions.
His multidisciplinary background also includes experience in capital markets, investment banking, corporate law, international tax, and accounting, enabling him to bridge commercial, financial, and legal considerations throughout complex transactions.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
