Jan Libicek brings 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector to Kreen. Over the course of his career, he has worked on transactions totalling more than €1.9 billion across four continents, gaining deep expertise in developed and emerging markets. His experience includes investments and exits across a wide range of assets, from individual infrastructure projects to companies operating across the renewable energy value chain. Jan has led activities across the full investment lifecycle, including acquisitions, divestments, project development, and EPC management.
Before joining Kreen, Jan was at Triple Point, where he focused on a range of debt financing solutions in the energy transition sector, including corporate debt, portfolio-level loans, and project finance. He also held a role at Bluefield Partners, overseeing investments across Europe. Earlier in his career, Jan spent five years in Asia with TerraForm Power and Canadian Solar, leading strategy and investment initiatives and successfully closing multiple utility-scale deals.
Jan holds a law degree from the University of Oxford.
